Chartwell Retirement Residences in Toronto invites a dedicated Lifestyle and Programs Supervisor to lead meaningful resident programs across the six wellness dimensions. You will guide activity aides and volunteers, coordinate calendars and communications, and foster strong resident relationships.

You will oversee program safety, quality, and partnerships with community organizations, while supporting the Lifestyle and Programs Manager in maintaining an engaging, inclusive calendar that reflects

Qualificações

• Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology, social work, or relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in retirement living, long-term care, or healthcare.
• Experience coordinating programs and guiding employees or volunteers.
• Understanding of aging and respect for residents’ backgrounds, interests, and abilities.
• Strong planning, communication, service, computer, and community-relations skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate programs across the six dimensions of wellness.
• Prepare program calendars, newsletters, events, outings, and resident communications.
• Assign work and guide, orient, and train activity aides and volunteers.
• Build resident relationships, respond to concerns, and elevate significant issues.
• Coordinate volunteers and community partners to expand program opportunities.
• Monitor program safety, participation, quality, risks, and improvement opportunities.
