Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Lifestyle and Programs Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day delivery of meaningful programs aligned with residents’ interests and the six wellness dimensions. You will guide activity aides and volunteers, support safe program delivery, and help maintain an engaging calendar for residents.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology, social work, or relevant experience.
• One to three years of experience in retirement living, long-term care, or healthcare.
• Experience coordinating programs and guiding employees or volunteers.
• Understanding of aging and respect for residents’ backgrounds, interests, and abilities.

The Opportunity

As a Lifestyle and Programs Supervisor at Chartwell, reporting to the Lifestyle and Programs Manager, you’ll coordinate the day‑to‑day delivery of meaningful programs that reflect residents’ interests and the six dimensions of wellness. You’ll work directly with residents while guiding activity aides and volunteers, supporting safe program delivery, and helping the Manager maintain an engaging calendar.

• Assign work and guide, orient, and train activity aides and volunteers

What You’ll Bring

• Post‑secondary education in recreation, gerontology, social work, or relevant experience
