C & D Machine and Welding in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, seeks a skilled Journeyman Welder/Fabricator to join our local, fully equipped shop. The role covers welding, fabrication, repair, and manufacturing across agriculture, research, and oilfield equipment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Welder certification preferred; 3rd-year apprentice may be considered.

• Experience with MIG, TIG, stick, flux-core welding and fabrication.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Having personal tools for the trade is an asset.

WANTED JOURNEYMAN WELDER / FABRICATOR Full-Time Permanent Position Swift Current, Saskatchewan C & D Machine and Welding is a locally owned and operated welding and machine shop looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

We are a fully equipped, modern shop specializing in the repair and manufacture of agriculture, agricultural research, and oilfield-related equipment. Our shop is equipped for MIG, TIG, stick, flux-core, oxy-acetylene, plasma, and more.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a mechanically inclined Welder who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working on a variety of welding, fabrication, repair, and manufacturing projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Journeyman Welder certification preferred; 3rd-year apprentice may be considered
• Must be able to successfully pass an in-shop CWB welding examination
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable with a variety of welding and fabrication processes
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency
