Job summary

Manpower in Timmins, ON is seeking 2–3 Fabricators/Welders to join the shop team. You will work daily in a structured fabrication environment, producing structural and industrial steel components with MIG welding.

We welcome welders with 2+ years of experience and a strong ability to read drawings and weld symbols. The role offers a steady day shift, competitive pay, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of steel fabrication/welding experience
• MIG welding experience
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols
• Experience with manual and semi-automated fabrication tools
• CWB certification is an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% MIG welding to CWB standards
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
• Set up jigs, fixtures, and layouts
• Cut, fit, and weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Verify measurements, tolerances, and fit-up
• Conduct pre-fit inspections and maintain strict quality control
• Ensure all assemblies meet internal and customer specifications

A well‑established and rapidly growing steel fabrication company in Timmins, ON is seeking 2–3 Fabricators/Welders to join their team immediately to work in the shop daily.

About the Role

This position is focused on producing high‑quality structural and industrial steel components. You will work hands‑on with heavy‑duty materials and be responsible for ensuring every weld and assembly meets high standards of accuracy and performance.
