C & D Machine and Welding in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, seeks a skilled Journeyman Welder/Fabricator to join our local, fully equipped shop. The role covers welding, fabrication, repair, and manufacturing across agriculture, research, and oilfield equipment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Welder certification preferred; 3rd-year apprentice may be considered.
• Must be able to successfully pass an in-shop CWB welding examination.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, stick, flux-core welding and fabrication.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Having personal tools for the trade is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate, repair and manufacture projects across agricultural, research and oilfield equipment.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and shop machinery.
• Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on all projects.
