Job summary

DyMark Industries in Saskatoon is seeking a Shop Welder for day, evening or weekend shifts to support metal fabrication and structural steel projects. You will work in a dynamic team delivering high-quality welding across industrial projects.

The role requires post-secondary welding training or 4–6 years of related experience, plus valid CWB-GMAW and MCAW-Flat/Horizontal tickets. WHMIS, overhead crane and forklift experience are assets. Excellent teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary welding training or 4–6 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Transferable CWB-GMAW and MCAW-Flat/Horizontal tickets would be beneficial.
• WHMIS, overhead crane operation and forklift operation are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality metal fabrication and structural steel manufacturing for projects.
• Set up, operate and monitor welding equipment and processes.
• Follow safety, quality procedures, and teamwork standards on site.

Our hard working, dedicated team of Shop Welders are responsible for providing high quality metal fabrication and structural steel manufacturing for significant industrial, commercial, institutional and infrastructure projects.

• The successful candidate(s) will possess post-secondary education for Pre-Employment Welding and/or 4-6 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Transferable CWB-GMAW and MCAW-Flat/Horizontal tickets would be beneficial.
• Previous WHMIS, overhead crane operation and forklift operation are assets.
• The successful candidate(s) must also possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
