Job summary

A&W Hub Mall in Edmonton is seeking a reliable, experienced Food Service Supervisor for closing and weekend shifts. This full-time, permanent role offers steady, year-round employment with a respected Canadian brand and opportunities for growth.

You will lead front-line staff, ensure food safety and customer service standards, and manage shift documentation while supporting training and cost-control efforts. Wage is $17.00 per hour for 32–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food service.
• FOODSAFE Level 1 required (Level 2 considered an asset).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, mature, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, accountable environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff during assigned shifts.
• Open and close the restaurant, including cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Train, coaching, and onboarding of new employees.
• Complete shift documentation and required records accurately.
