Job summary

Indigo Park Canada – Weekend Duty Manager at Pearson Airport oversees daily valet and parking operations, guides frontline teams, and ensures service standards in a fast-paced, unionized airport setting.

You will act as a primary liaison for clients, guests, and staff, respond to emails, handle complaints, assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and payroll-related tasks, while maintaining accurate records and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in operations or service-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience in a unionized environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop frontline team members to align with Indigo values and service standards.
• Supervise daily shift operations at Pearson Airport, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of customer, employee, and client concerns.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, guests, and employees during assigned shifts.
• Respond to emails, handle customer complaints, and follow up on pending requests or investigations.
• Support payroll approvals, staff scheduling, and operational reporting.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure accountability across the team during shifts.
• Maintain accurate operational records and logs (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually).
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment, particularly within a unionized setting.
• Take ownership of projects or initiatives as assigned by management.
