Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Basic math and counting skills are necessary.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are important.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
• Cooks using different methods (baking, roasting, broiling, steaming) for meat and vegetables.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food properly following safety policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and staff.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and ensures asset security.
• Order product as needed and assist with weekly menu and pricing.
