Job summary

Manulife John Hancock in Vancouver is seeking an Internal Wholesaler to promote Wealth Management solutions to Advisors and provide access to Portfolio Managers and Strategists. You will align advisor needs with our technology, product and service solutions, while collaborating with an External Wholesaler and Territory Coordinator to drive sales growth.

The role offers a long-term career path with an established training program and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• College or University degree in a related field preferred.
• Prior sales experience in financial services, familiarity with advisor practice management.
• Knowledge of Wealth Management products (Segregated Funds & Annuities) and understanding of global markets.
• Industry-related courses such as CSC, IFIC, CFP (or working towards completion) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve product-specific sales targets within the wholesaler's region.
• Identify and pursue new relationships with Advisors.
• Provide new insights to help advisors grow their business with Manulife.
• Demonstrated ability to persuade and negotiate through consultation and active listening skills.
• Effective presentation skills and delivery to engage with different audiences.
• Prioritize and manage time to work on the business and in the business.
• Execute a repeatable and measurable sales process.
• Stay informed on the industry landscape and competitors and innovate in sales strategies and product applications.
• Become an expert in Wealth Management solutions and strategies through leadership and self-awareness.
• Assess customer-related information to identify potential sales opportunities for advisors' customers.
