Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater projects, delivering resilient infrastructure and lasting community benefits. You will guide cross-functional teams through planning, design and construction to meet client expectations and quality standards.

With 8+ years in the field and a PE (or eligible) registration, you will manage proposals, reports and budgets while mentoring engineers and coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in municipal water and wastewater projects with proven delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s is an asset).
• Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with EGM.
• Strong in project management, client engagement and leading complex teams.
• Experience in detailed design, procurement, contract administration and commissioning.
• Skilled in reports, presentations and time management.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative infrastructure design solutions for municipal water and wastewater systems, ensuring resilient and sustainable communities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction, meeting client expectations and quality standards.
• Manage proposals, reports, and client relationships to expand business opportunities.
• Champion technical excellence in preliminary and detailed design for water supply, sanitary sewer, and stormwater.
