Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada is mandatory.
• Experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design and municipal facilities.
• Proven ability to prepare drawings, specs and construction contracts.
• Construction experience including Contract Administration/Engineer-of-Record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to design and construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Design pump stations, sanitary and storm sewers, forcemains, water mains, reservoirs, and PRV stations.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, including calculations, specifications, and tender packages.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record on appropriate projects.
• Deliver construction inspection, contract administration, and coordination with contractors and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct infrastructure condition assessments and technical investigations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects with environmental, geotechnical, and permitting constraints.
• Work with CAD team members on design drawing development.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders through planning, design, and construction phases.
• Mentor junior team members and support quality control throughout project delivery.
