Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer to lead hydraulic modelling projects for municipal clients. You will use 1D/2D tools (InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS) to develop, calibrate, and analyze stormwater and sanitary networks while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience on municipal infrastructure projects in Canada.
• Licensed PEO or ability to obtain within 6 months is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS and hydraulic modelling tools (InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic modelling assignments for municipal clients using 1D/2D tools.
• Develop, calibrate and analyze storm, sanitary and combined sewer systems.
• Contribute to master servicing plans and project deliverables.
• Prepare technical reports and provide input for client meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
