Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited’s Water Resources Discipline seeks a Water Resources Designer/Technologist to join a multidisciplinary team. The position supports hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, and project collaboration across Calgary, Winnipeg, Fredericton, Saint John and Halifax offices.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resource Engineering.
• 0–3 years of relevant consulting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software (HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM).
• Understanding of stormwater management system design and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for surface drainage, open channels, and culverts.
• Conduct watershed scale investigations and hydrology assessments.
• Develop stormwater strategies and detailed designs for land development and municipal projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist with reports and proposals.
