Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited's Water Resources Discipline seeks a Water Resources Designer/Technologist to join a multidisciplinary team. The role offers flexible hours and a hybrid work model across our offices.

You will perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and develop stormwater designs for land development and municipal projects. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resource Engineering and have 0–3 years of consulting experience, with strong communication skills and

Qualifications

A degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resource Engineering.
0–3 years of relevant consulting experience preferred.
Familiarity with hydraulics/hydrology software such as HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM.
Experience in stormwater management system design and open channel work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of local/provincial regulations and environmental permitting guidance.

Responsibilities

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling analyses and design for drainage, open channels, pipes, and bridges.
Complete watershed and sub-watershed hydrology investigations and assessments.
Develop stormwater management strategies and detailed designs for land development and municipal projects.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and assist project managers with water resources deliverables.
Participate in fieldwork, data collection, and reporting aligned with project scopes.
