Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead water resources projects across Saint John, Fredericton or Halifax offices. The role covers hydrological and hydraulic modelling, drainage design, and multi-disciplinary coordination to deliver resilient stormwater solutions.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years in consulting, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff, with hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Eligible to hold license from the relevant provincial Professional Engineering Association.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a consulting environment on water resources projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical input for water resource management projects for public and private clients.
• Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for urban drainage, storm sewers, bridges, and culverts.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline teams and supervise water resources activities.
• Interpret simulations to assess capacity and identify improvements.
• Lead drainage and stormwater infrastructure design and studies.
