Job summary
Dillon Consulting Limited in Ontario seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering innovative water resource management solutions and exceptional client service.
You will provide senior technical input, lead hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams on urban drainage projects across our Ontario offices, including Hamilton and Kingston.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- Eligible for provincial PEO license.
- 10+ years of relevant consulting experience in water resources.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency with water resources tools (PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, Visual OTTHYMO).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Self-motivated with advancement opportunities.
- Attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical input for delivery of water resource management projects.
- Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for urban infrastructure systems.
- Utilize PCSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS/HMS.
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary data and project constraints.
- Lead design of drainage and stormwater infrastructure.
- Support project planning, design, and construction phases.
- Contribute to business development and proposals.
