Job summary

Associated Engineering in Calgary is seeking an experienced Process Technologist to deliver design and drafting services for water projects across public and private clients. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to produce 2D and 3D layouts, develop piping diagrams, and support project documentation.

You should hold a Diploma in Design/Drafting Technology, be proficient in AutoCAD, and be open to learning Revit and related tools.

Qualifications

Diploma in Design/Drafting Technology from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft tools. Plant3D experience is preferred (CADWorx/AutoPlant acceptable).
Basic understanding or willingness to learn Revit, Navisworks, Revizto and SketchUp.
Excellent communication and organization skills. Able to work well in a team and independently.
Driven to deliver high quality designs and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Designers, Engineers, and Technologists to deliver design and drafting services per standards.
Work on water projects including water supply, wastewater treatment, reservoirs, lift stations, and pumping stations.
Create 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and P&IDs; review drawing packages.
Develop and maintain project documentation frameworks; provide input on design details.
