Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Piping Designer to support multi-disciplinary engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be a technical college graduate with 3 to 5 years of drafting experience, including at least 1 year in piping design. Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year program with design principles and drafting procedures.
• Strong foundation in piping design and drawings.
• 3 to 5 years of drafting experience, including 1 year in piping.

Responsibilities

• Draft Plot Plans, P&IDs, Piping Plans, and Isometric drawings.
• Redraft marked up P&IDs and plot plans accurately.
• Use CADWorx for 3D piping model modifications.
• Assist project teams in producing design drawing packages.
• Aid quality assurance with the engineering and drafting teams.
• Participate in field trips for information gathering on existing facilities.
