Job summary

AWC Process Solutions Ltd. in Langley, BC, is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Technologist to drive drawing production and technical documentation for water and wastewater treatment projects.

You will produce complete electrical and I&C packages and collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. The role requires strong AutoCAD Electrical experience, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to drawing libraries, templates, and document control.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in CAD/Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• E.T. or C.Tech. designation is considered an asset.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design of industrial equipment and packaged systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and drafting of full electrical and I&C project document packages (SLDs, schematics, ILS, control layouts).
• Create and update drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical from specs and markups.
• Coordinate drawings across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and process disciplines for consistency.
