    • Lead and contribute to the design of water and wastewater systems, including water supply, treatment, distribution, lift stations, and treatment facilities
    • Conduct process engineering design, including sizing and selection of piping, chemical feed systems, and treatment components
    • Coordinate drafting resources and sub‑consultants to complete detailed design deliverables
    • Develop front‑end contract specifications and technical specifications for procurement
  • Studies & Reporting
    • Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure and develop technical reports and recommendations
    • Analyze data, develop solution options, and estimate costs for presentation to clients
    • Compile multi-author reports and ensure consistency and clarity in final documentation

    • Contribute to quality assurance, internal review processes, and documentation standards
    • Adapt workflows based on project size, complexity, and available resources
  • Construction & Field Services
    • Assist with construction phase services, including submittal reviews, RFIs, field inspections, and conformance reporting
    • Conduct site visits and field reviews to assess construction quality and alignment with design intent
    • Support project commissioning and system startup activities for water/wastewater infrastructure

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (for coordination with design/drafting teams) is considered an asset
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Registration in good standing as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) with APEGA
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in water/wastewater design within a consulting engineering environment
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to travel to client and project sites across Alberta
