Reworld Waste is seeking a Waste Processing Technician II to operate and optimize industrial waste processing across streams using available technologies with limited supervision. This mid-level role emphasizes safety, compliance, and hands-on operation of equipment.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1+ year experience, ability to pass respirator tests, and proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in waste processing or related field.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Proficient with NetSuite.
• Ability to operate cranes, forklifts and other power tools.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and support safety/compliance.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts per policy and OSHA.
• Safely operate mobile equipment within the facility boundaries.
• Unload inbound packages, liquid trucks and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• QA/QC on waste streams and lab analysis related to receiving and shipping.
• Complete facility paperwork (receiving, piece count, verification, manifest review).
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
