Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Brampton, Canada, is seeking a reliable forklift operator to maintain production and quality by operating machinery and equipment. You will safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift, work outdoors, and coordinate with drivers to ensure accurate loads and safe loading/unloading.

The role requires 2 years of forklift experience, a valid Class 1 certification, and the ability to read pick lists. Schedule is Sunday–Friday, 8:00pm–4:30am, at a rate of $29.46/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have valid forklift certification class 1 license.
• Able to read a pick list.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Pass a fit for duty physical.
• 2 years forklift experience; prior materials handling preferred.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Positive team attitude and good work ethic.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the successful candidate will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit down counter balance forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification
• Must be comfortable working outside in the elements
