IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Warehouseperson for Brampton, ON. You will operate a sit-down counter balance forklift, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory while working outdoors in the elements.

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, you will verify loads with drivers, locate items using FIFO, and support accurate stock handling in a fast-paced warehousing environment. Applicants should have a HS diploma, forklift Class 1 license, and reliability for overtime shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have valid forklift certification class 1 license.
• Must be able to read a pick list.
• Must have 2 years forklift experience.
• Experience with materials handling & distribution warehouses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit down counter balance forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure load accuracy and safety requirements for loading/unloading materials.
• Identify product location in yard and warehouse using FIFO.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Pick and sort stock using a forklift with minimal errors.
• Assist with inventory counts as required.
• Guide truck drivers to safe loading/unloading areas.
