Job summary

Brewers Distributor Ltd. is hiring Warehouse Workers/Driver Helpers at our Calgary Distribution Centre. This full-time, unionized role combines warehouse tasks with driving support to back delivery operations.

Expect up to 40 hours per week, with possible overtime, in a team focused on accuracy, safety, and customer service. Starting wage is $22.79/hour with wage increases per the collective agreement. Applicants must be 18+, have a High School diploma or GED, and a valid Class 1 license in good

• Assist truck drivers on delivery routes.

• Contribute to customer service excellence.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Role

We are currently searching for reliable and dedicated Warehouse Workers/Driver Helpers for vacancies at our Calgary Distribution Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine both warehouse and driving duties, gaining practical experience supporting delivery operations. These vacancies are unionized, full-time opportunities with up to 40 hours a week (overtime may occur). You’ll be part of a team that values accuracy, safety, and a little fun along the way.

On site at the Calgary Distribution Centre

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product, sorting empties of cans/bottles and crushing cans
• Maintain service quality by following organisation's standards
• Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
• Assisting truck drivers on their delivery routes
• Ensure the company's Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
• Exemplify the Company's dedication to customer service
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid Class 1 drivers license in good standing and clear abstract

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in an operations/warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required

Skills

• Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
• Above average communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation
