Job summary

The Beer Store in Timmins, Ontario is seeking Warehouse Workers for our Timmins Distribution Centre and retail store. These are part-time roles where you’ll help ensure orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately.

Candidates must be 18+ and able to lift 40 pounds or more, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Starting wage is $17.95 per hour, with shift premiums under the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more and stand/walk for long periods.

• Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labeling product.
• Maintain service quality by following organizational standards.
• Ensure customer service targets and goals are met.
• Support Health and Safety and operational efficiencies.

The Role

We are currently searching for Warehouse Workers for vacancies at our Timmins Distribution Centre/Retail store. These vacancies are part-time opportunities to join a dynamic team and help make sure every order gets out the door perfectly. You’ll be part of a team that values accuracy, safety, and a little fun along the way.

Location

On-site at the Timmins Distribution Centre.

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in an operations/warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required

Skills

• Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
• Above average communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

Starting wage is $17.95/hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement.
