FMi Logistics Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead safe, efficient warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy, reporting to the Operations Manager.

This role manages team members and implements proactive action plans for receiving, warehousing, and shipping products in alignment with company service and cost objectives. You will supervise staff, coordinate shipping and receiving, and drive health and safety initiatives while delivering reliable service for clients.

• Familiarity with material-handling equipment.
• Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation.
• Ability to coordinate employee training and support the development of job-related skills.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse coordination and operations management.
• Identify and resolve potential inventory discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to realign inventory and improve space utilization and operational flow.
• Prepare and maintain accurate client activity records and reports on time.
• Supervise employees, including performance, conduct, quality, and compensation matters.
• Communicate effectively with team members, provide feedback, resolve issues, lead shift start-up meetings, and support culture-building activities.
• Plan labour requirements and manage shift schedules, including time-off and vacation requests.
• Maintain professional, courteous relationships with internal and external customers and ensure team members do the same.
• Oversee shipping and receiving operations.
• Lead health and safety initiatives, security practices, and general facility housekeeping.
