Sleeman Breweries Ltd. in Vernon, British Columbia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of hourly staff, ensure timely production and distribution, and drive efficiency.

You will manage schedules, performance, inventory accuracy, safety, and quality while coordinating shipping/receiving and cycle counts. The role follows a rotating 2‑week schedule and is onsite, emphasizing teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehousing, shipping/receiving, or transportation experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Strong communicationskills (written and verbal).
• Experience with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS); Oracle experience is an asset.
• Forklift experience/certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of 6–30 warehouse employees to meet production and shipping schedules.
• Lead daily crew meetings and provide performance feedback aligned with productivity and site metrics.
• Coordinate cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor orderfulfillment, backorders, and overall inventory levels.
• Oversee shipping/receiving schedules, carrier appointments, and material flow.
• Promote a safe and healthy workplace by identifyingand correcting hazards.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions whererequired.
• Create and manage employee schedules, attendance tracking, and timekeeping validation.
• Support performance management, employee engagement, and disciplinary processes in collaboration with HR.
