Roofmart is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Ottawa-area facility, mentor the core team, and ensure timely order processing. You will work with branch staff and sales to support customers and nurture relationships with contractors and homeowners.

The role emphasizes growing market share by offering solutions and maintaining efficient warehouse and yard management. A strong team, problem-solvers, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree (in Business/Sales/Logistics/Human Resources) and/or 5 or more years of successful warehouse/yard management, logistics experience.
• Valid Driver’s licence.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Managing various aspects of the local retail warehouse and yard
• Mentoring and growing your core team, recognizing that a manager’s success is only possible with a strong team
• Overseeing the daily warehouse operations, maintaining control of orders received and shipped, and carrying out all duties required in a timely and efficient manner
• Working closely with our vibrant Roofmart Branch Staff and Sales Team to provide world class support and build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, homeowners and customers by converting them away from competitor products.
