Job summary

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor of exterior building supplies, is seeking a Shipper and Receiver to join our Ottawa warehouse. Safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory.

You will help with order picking, tagging, and double checking, and may assist with insulation fabrication and metal shop operations. Valid forklift license and ability to lift 80–100 lbs are required; training is provided. Authorized to work in Canada; salary is $20–$22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license (training can be provided).
• Ability to lift 80-100 lbs.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving product.
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked.
• Assisting as required with tapered insulation fabrication.
• Assisting as required with metal shop operations.
• Complying with health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
• Other duties as required.

Job Responsibilities
