Job summary

Roofmart is seeking an Inside Sales/Shipper and Receiver to serve as the first point of contact for customers in-store or by phone. You will complete sales transactions, assist in developing new customers, and ensure safe handling of products in the warehouse.

The role requires lifting heavy loads (80-100lbs), forklift operation, and strong communication with customers to drive sales and service excellence.

Qualifications

• College diploma and/or 3+ years of Warehouse and Forklift Experience.
• 3+ years of successful retail, business, accounting, or sales experience.
• Valid Forklift License - an asset.

Responsibilities

• The customer’s first point of contact when shopping in-store or calling the branch
• Completing sales transactions, daily banking reconciliation reports, and purchasing
• Required to pick, prepare and load purchased product on to the Company truck or load the customer’s truck
• Required to offload and put away product that is delivered to the branch
• Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of the product while at the facility
• Lifting 80lbs and operate a lift truck.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Demonstrating excellent customer service and strong communication skills as you interact directly with customers

Salary Range

Salary range: $19-22 per hour **this is a replacement***
