Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead and oversee the quality of service provided to various internal customers served by the warehouse, including all the operations departments. The Supervisor also oversees the shipping and receiving of all products and equipment transiting through the warehouse and the yard. The incumbent ensures that the inventory is properly maintained and regularly counted.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :
  1. Warehouse
  2. Ensures products and equipment are properly shipped and received, from a physical and administrative standpoint, in a timely manner
  3. Tracks inventory and inventory outflows for the fulfillment of contracts and for customer equipment.
  4. Manages customer and Telecon equipment
  5. Prioritizes and improves health and safety work methods (ensures that current processes are followed and implements new processes)
  6. Establishes, improves and adapts work methods where necessary, following verifications with the supervisor and the operators
  7. Makes sure that the warehouse is always adequately staffed during operating hours
  8. Finds solutions to warehouse operations issues as needed
  9. Ensures that a response system is in place for emergencies and last-minute requests
  10. Sends all purchasing requisitions to the Purchasing department
  11. Implements and standardizes warehouse processes at the corporate level
  12. Performs all other tasks related to supervising the warehouse and yard
  13. Works with the center’s Purchasing division to maintain steady provisioning and rotation of Telecon equipment
Employee Management
  1. Manages employees in accordance with the company’s human resources management processes
  2. Provides ongoing coaching and support to employees
  3. Ensures that the team is always performing optimally
  4. Supports the hiring process for warehouse personnel
  5. Evaluates the performance of employees under his or her responsibility as per the performance cycle
Operations Support
  1. Establishes good interdepartmental relationships and understands the needs of internal customers
  2. Upholds company policies and procedures
  3. Prioritizes customer service
  4. Ensures that optimal coverage is provided to operators
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :
  1. Post-secondary education in administration, logistics management or equivalent experience
  2. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  3. General knowledge of telecommunications is an asset
  4. Knowledge of WMS systems is an asset
  5. Strong technical computer skills and understanding of MS Office Suite
  6. Team management experience is an asset
  7. Change management experience considered an asset
  8. Knowledge and experience with an ERP system (SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle) considered an asset
  9. Valid Driver’s License
