Position Summary :

Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, the Production Supervisor manages production operations on assigned shift(s) to meet safety, regulatory, environmental, quality, customer service, and cost requirements. As part of the leadership team, contributes to continuous improvement in processes, efficiencies, and productivity.

Work Schedule : Morning Shift, Monday to Friday.

Key Accountabilities :

• Deliver production results according to plans to meet business objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to hourly employees, including coaching and HR issue resolution.
• Allocate resources appropriately.
• Communicate and reinforce production performance indicators.
• Review schedules and stock levels, addressing discrepancies to ensure smooth production.
• Analyze production performance to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Monitor the production environment, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
• Act as Department Manager in their absence.

Requirements :

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in food processing, business management, or related field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MS Office, GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, and Lean manufacturing.
• Experience managing workforce within collective agreements and HR policies.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
