Hendrickson in Mississauga, Canada is seeking a warehouse associate to pick and pack customer orders, back up receiving, and process warranty returns to the U.S. You will analyze returns to determine stockable items and ensure accurate paperwork during day-end close.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, barcode experience, and basic computer skills. Candidates should be prepared to work in a safety‑conscious warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Certified on all Lift Trucks.
  • 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Previous barcode equipment experience.
  • Solid basic computer skills: Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience in a QAD based computer system preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Back-up for receiver; communicates issues to Buyer/Planner, Warehouse TL.
  • Complete customer returns, receiving, inspection, re-packing as required, processing to stock.
  • Package and process paperwork to return warranty product to the U.S. for inspection.
  • Complete cycle count as required.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
  • Complete day-end close.
  • Wear the proper safety equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsible for Picking and packing of customer orders in the warehouse, act as back‑up for receiving, shipping warranty product back to the US, analyzing customer returns including determining what items are put back to stock, Complete day-end close. Support all initiatives on improvement plant on Safety, 5S, warehouse metric and productivity improvements.

Essential Functions
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Act as back‑up for receiver, communicating any issues to Buyer/Planner, Warehouse TL
  • Complete customer returns, receiving, inspection, re-packing as required, processing to stock
  • Package and process paperwork to return warranty product to the U.S. for inspection
  • Complete cycle count as required
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
  • Complete day‑end close.

Education And Training

Physical Demands
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Stand for longer periods of time, occasionally required to sit.
  • Having good eye‑hand-foot coordination.
Environmental Conditions
  • Normal working environment.
  • Occasionally required to load/unload product outside in hot/cold environment.
  • An enclosed environment with limited sunlight accessibility.
