Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Receiver for Dal Food Services at Dalhousie University in Halifax. You will receive and inspect goods, label items, and manage inventory in a busy campus warehouse environment.

The role requires 1+ years in a receiving/warehouse setting, familiarity with food safety, and the ability to handle both supervised and unsupervised work. Training on pallet jacks and forklifts may be provided, with opportunities to advance within a global hospitality company.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in receiving, warehouselogistics or similar role required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work supervised or unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products, apply FIFO for perishables.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts if trained.
• Pick inventory for orders and maintain par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
