Job summary

Advantage Personnel seeks a Warehouse Receiver in Brampton, ON, to operate an order picker and dock stocker, verify quantities, and stage orders for shipment. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. Wage is $22.50 per hour.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of general labour experience in a warehouse setting; RF scanners and inventory control experience are assets. Safety and accuracy are essential to daily operations.

Job Title: WarehouseReceiver

Wage: $22.50 /hr.

Great opportunity exists for a Warehouse Receiver. In the role, you will operate an order picker and or Dock Stocker to retrieve products, verify quantities, and stage orders for shipment. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity is essential to supporting daily warehouse and shipping operations.

Job Duties:

• Receive, unload, label, organize, and store warehouse inventory efficiently.
• Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure audit readiness and compliance with quality standards.
• Inspect products for damage, discrepancies, or inconsistencies and promptly report findings to the supervisor.
• Organize supplies, products, and equipment to ensure easy accessibility and efficient warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while maximizing available storage space.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to support daily warehouse operations.
• Safely operate warehouse vehicles and equipment, including order fillers and stand-up dock stockers/pacers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in general labour, preferably within a warehouse environment.
• Valid certification and demonstrated ability to operate an order picker, stand-up dock stocker
• Experience operating reach trucks and swing-reach forklifts is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock replenishment procedures.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking and warehouse operations.
• attention to detail, including accuracy when identifying and verifying part numbers, labels, and inventory records.
