Job summary

Recruiting in Motion is assisting a Markham-based manufacturing client in finding a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate. The role supports daily shipping, receiving and inventory activities, ensuring accurate processing of orders and stock records.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will handle shipments, data entry, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. Candidates should have 2+ years in warehouse/shipping/receiving, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse/shipping/receiving or inventory experience.
• Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems is an asset.
• Experience operating Walkie and Reach Trucks is an asset.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Enter and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory information in warehouse systems
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, and damaged goods
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers
• Ensure inventory is properly labeled, organized, and stored
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
