Job summary

Finning International Inc. is seeking individuals with warehouse experience for our West Edmonton operations on 7 x 7 schedules. Starting wage is $19.11/hr with shift premiums, regular wage increases, benefits, and potential annual bonus.

A $250/yr boot allowance is also offered, with transit access on most shifts. This role involves loading/unloading, adherence to policies, inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse and yard.

Qualifications

• Warehousing and RF Scanner experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain crane, forklift and related safety training (WHMIS, TDG).
• Safety is a top priority in daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts trucks by hand or with material handling equipment.
• Adhere to shipping/receiving policies and regulatory procedures.
• Assist co-workers and customers as needed (internal and external).
• Participate in annual cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse and yard areas to Finning standards for a safe environment.
• Sort and assign bin locations for incoming stock.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Description

• Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment
• Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
• Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external)
• Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning standards and to ensure a safe work environment
• Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock
• Other duties as required.

Education & Experience

• Previous warehousing and/or RF Scanner experience would be considered an asset
• Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Information

• 14 open positions for 7x7 Continuous Day Shift (Wednesday through Tuesday 7am – 7pm)
• 6 open positions 7x7 Continuous Night Shift (Wednesday through Tuesday 7pm – 7am)
• Candidate Selection will be in accordance with the current CBA
• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
