Job summary

Metro Supply Chain in Delta, BC, is hiring for a morning shift warehouse associate. You will operate typical material-handling equipment, pick, pack, ship and receive goods, and maintain safety.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good teamwork and communication. Base pay is $20.50 per hour with a total rate of $22.00 per hour including shift premiums.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Hold a valid forklift operator’s license (an asset).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, perform repetitive motions, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Operate material-handling equipment such as order picker (walkie), reach truck, dockstocker, counterbalance, and double walkie.
• Perform general warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Handle inbound loads, perform cycle counts, complete product put-away, and replenish stock locations.
• Follow SOPs while maintaining productivity levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete other site-specific responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Operate material‑handling equipment such as an order picker (walkie), reach truck, dockstocker, counterbalance, and double walkie


• Perform general warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving


• Handle inbound loads, perform cycle counts, complete product put‑away, and replenish stock locations


• Follow activity‑and account‑specific Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining acceptable productivity levels


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


• Complete other site‑specific responsibilities as required

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking team members who:

• Have previous warehouse experience


• Hold a valid forklift operator’s license (an asset)


• Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs consistently, performing repetitive motions, and standing/walking for extended periods


• Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well in a team environment


• Prioritize safety in all aspects of their work

Schedule

• Morning shift (6am - 2pm)

Compensation

• Base rate: $20.50 per hour

Total hourly rate: $22.00 per hour ( includes all applicable hourly shift premiums )
