Metro Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the morning shift in Delta, BC. You will operate various material‑handling equipment, perform picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, and maintain safe, organized work areas.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong teamwork and safety focus. Base rate $20.50/hr with total compensation $22.00/hr, with benefits and company match retirement program.

Qualifications

• Have previous warehouse experience.
• Hold a valid forklift operator’s license (an asset).
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive motions, and standing/walking for extended periods.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well in a team environment.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Operate material‑handling equipment such as an order picker (walkie), reach truck, dockstocker, counterbalance, and double walkie.
• Perform general warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Handle inbound loads, perform cycle counts, complete product put‑away, and replenish stock locations.
• Follow activity‑ and account‑specific SOPs while maintaining productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete other site‑specific responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Operate material‑handling equipment such as an order picker (walkie), reach truck, dockstocker, counterbalance, and double walkie
• Perform general warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Handle inbound loads, perform cycle counts, complete product put‑away, and replenish stock locations
• Follow activity‑and account‑specific Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining acceptable productivity levels
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Complete other site‑specific responsibilities as required

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking team members who:

• Have previous warehouse experience
• Hold a valid forklift operator’s license (an asset)
• Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs consistently, performing repetitive motions, and standing/walking for extended periods
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well in a team environment
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of their work

Schedule

• Morning shift (6am - 2pm)

Compensation

• Base rate: $20.50 per hour

Total hourly rate: $22.00 per hour ( includes all applicable hourly shift premiums)
