Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team onsite. You will follow established procedures to receive, store, and dispatch goods, and operate forklifts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, adherence to PPE, and meticulous attention to safety and accuracy. This is a 100% onsite, day-shift position with benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally and wear required PPE.
• Fast-paced warehouse environment with lots of standing and lifting.

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.

• Check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.

• Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

• Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests orders.

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.

• Maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Previous experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment

• Please note, this is a fast-paced warehouse environment, there will be a lot of standing and lifting.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

• This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.
