Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Edmonton is seeking a skilled technician to join our on-site service team. You will complete repairs on engine products in a service shop, perform maintenance and diagnostics, and maintain detailed service records.

The role requires 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment, welding experience, and familiarity with diesel engines and diagnostic software. You must be able to work Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to Midnight, and adhere to our safety policies.

Qualifications

• Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics.
• Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
• Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources.
• Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level.
• Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts.
• Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software.

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment

Apprentice must have welding experience, mechanical aptitude

Apprentice has to be familiar on modular builds for Haul Trucks

Monday to Friday – 3:30pm – Midnight
