  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators, including productivity, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, labour costs, damage rates, and safety performance.
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, health and safety requirements, employment standards, and applicable warehousing and transportation regulations.

  • Coordinate cycle counts, inventory audits, stock transfers, and the management of damaged, returned, slow-moving, and dead stock.
  • Review warehouse layouts, racking systems, equipment, and workflows to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment, tools, machinery, and material-handling equipment are properly maintained and inspected.
  • Plan staffing levels and labour allocation based on order volume, operational requirements, and seasonal demand.
  • Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop warehouse management and operational teams.
  • Support new warehouse setups, expansions, relocations, and process-improvement projects when required.
  • Work closely with transportation providers, suppliers, internal departments, and other business partners to resolve receiving, shipping, inventory, and customer‑service issues.
  • Prepare and present regular operational reports, performance analysis, action plans, and improvement recommendations to senior management.
  • Travel frequently between warehouse locations to conduct operational reviews, provide on-site support, and ensure consistent execution of company standards.

  • Comprehensive understanding of receiving, inventory control, order picking and packing, shipping, returns, transportation, and reverse‑logistics processes.
