Job summary

The Dufresne Group is hiring a part-time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Red Deer Ashley Canada store at 110-5250 22 St. You'll assist in visual presentation, stock handling, and general store operations to ensure an inviting and organized guest experience.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 100 lbs, have a high school diploma or GED, and enjoy working retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. MS Office knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience an asset.
• Ability to work retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs.

As aWarehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store)you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store), you will:

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
