Job summary

Ashley Canada is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Calgary-Brentwood store located at 3630 Brentwood Rd NW. You will support visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, and inventory management in-store.

Responsibilities include receiving products, preparing outbound shipments, floor-ready merchandising, and maintaining inventory records while ensuring the warehouse stays organized and safe.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience is an asset.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with MS Office and ability to learn the in-house inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Provide visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods and merchandising support.
• Maintain store exterior and general maintenance responsibilities.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store), you will:

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
