Job summary

The Dufresne Group's Ashley Canada is seeking a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for the Calgary South store at 88 Heritage Gate SE, Calgary, AB.

You will assist with visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, and merchandise movement, while meeting retail hours and safety requirements. High school diploma preferred; 6–12 months of related experience a plus; ability to lift up to 100 lbs and use MS Office and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience is an asset.
• Able to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with MS Office and ability to learn in-house inventory system.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods and merchandising.
• Responsible for store maintenance including the exterior of the building.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.
