Job summary

The Dufresne Group, Ashley Canada’s Canadian licensee, is seeking a Warehouse Merchandise Handler for the Vaughan store at 3900 Hwy 7. This full-time, on-site role supports visual presentation, warehousing and guest service in a busy retail setting.

You will receive, stock and prepare merchandise for floor placement, maintain inventory records, load and unload freight, and keep the warehouse clean. Lifting up to 100 lbs is required; weekend and evening shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience an asset.
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising.
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store)for our Vaughanstore located at 3900 Hwy 7.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.
