Job summary

Ashley Canada is seeking a part-time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Red Deer store at 110-5250 22 St. You will assist in visual presentation and warehousing for home furnishings.

Responsibilities include stocking, inventory documentation, unloading freight, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Must lift up to 100 lbs and work retail hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience an asset.
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising.
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.
