Responsibilities

About the Role:

Leis Pet Distributing is a privately owned company with a warehouse and office located in Wellesley, Ontario. As a full line distributor of pet food and accessories, we deliver to a network of over 900 independent Retail Pet Food Stores throughout central and south-western Ontario, northern and eastern Ontario and in the Maritime Provinces. We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Warehouse Material Handlers for our night shift.

Location: 1315 Hutchison Road, Wellesley, ON

Hours: Sunday - Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

A Snapshot of the job:

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for:

• picking and filling orders from stock using handheld scanners.


• packing and shipping orders.


• managing and organizing product in assigned locations.


• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse to comply with health and safety regulations.


• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management for resolution.


• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.


• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.


• Rotating stock so that older dates are used first.

Minimum Qualifications:
