  • Experience and certifications on machinery (walkie, cherry picker, reach, counterbalance) are an asset.
  • RF scanner experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Help control inventory and ensure product availability.
  • Support all warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, shipping, stocking, and organizing parts).
  • Complete necessary paperwork (e.g. warranty forms) accurately.
  • Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles.
  • Follow health and safety practices (ergonomics, hand hygiene).
  • Sort items in alphanumeric order.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Operate warehouse equipment when necessary to perform tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Title: Material Handler - Inventory Control

Type of Employment: 6-week temporary contract, with potential for extension

Number of Vacancies: 1

Compensation : Starting at$18.00/hour based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (filled by volunteers or in reverse seniority order)
  • *Occasional overtime work may be available/required depending on business needs
  • This position may be required to transition to the afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) in the future, depending on business needs
Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to support inventory control, including conducting cycle counts and physical inventory checks. They will also support all other areas of the warehouse operations, including picking and receiving incoming stock, scanning and stocking automotive parts, preparing skids, processing returns, and maintaining the overall appearance of the warehouse.
